Karmic Balance

So yesterday I had a really crappy day. I wasn’t very happy with the results of musical auditions (for myself, at least), missed lunch, arrived at my rehearsal that evening forty-five minutes late, and was generally in an awful mood for most of the day. The worst part was I wasn’t very good at hiding it a few times, which I usually am, so I was rather rude to some of my friends. I was very happy to get home and sleep as much as possible.

Today, however, was a different story. After a ten-thirty rehearsal, I felt much better, mostly due to the musical genius of J.S. Bach and the wonderful musicians around me. I then sat through three and a half hours of Improv class, which can be taxing some days but proved to be a blast today.

I guess it goes to show that brushing off an awful day is the best thing you can do, and that surrounding yourself with the right people can lift the dampest of spirits.

Here’s a picture as a reward for your patience.

I think as a man this wouldn’t go over as convincing, but I still think it’s funny as hell.

I will never understand the appeal of MTV Cribs. It’s like they’re trying to compete with HGTV.
